Job Overview

Granimals is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance, operational efficiency, and executive support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). With 3+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will possess a background in top-tier strategy consulting firms and prestigious graduate programs (MBA, IIT, IIM, ISB). This role requires a seasoned professional capable of driving organizational initiatives, facilitating communication, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and SLT, providing insights and guidance on organizational matters.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making through research, analysis, and executive briefings.

Communication Liaison:

  • Relay information between SLT and teams, ensuring effective communication of decisions and key information.
  • Attend and participate in meetings to stay informed and facilitate communication flow.

CEO Support:

  • Assist the CEO in prioritisation, scheduling, and day-to-day support in Board Management and other deliverables.
  • Optimise the CEO's time to enhance productivity and strategic focus.

Leadership and Coordination:

  • Support cross-functional teams, coordinate initiatives, and provide guidance aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Address everyday action items for executive team members, collaborating with department leaders on project coordination.

Project Assessment and Facilitation:

  • Oversee and drive special projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and successful outcomes.
  • Mitigate risks, monitor milestones, and ensure project success.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, cultivating relationships that advance organisational objectives.
  • Act as a key representative for the organisation in various engagements.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Streamline operations and processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimise organisational performance.

Team Support:

  • Model servant leadership, prioritising the growth and well-being of the team and the communities served.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Additional Duties:

  • Undertake other duties and tasks consistent with the role as required.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business or executive management, overseeing multiple departments with emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in the development of non-profit organizations in a cross-cultural environment is advantageous.
  • Strong generalist background with expertise in strategic planning, project management, data analysis, and operational improvement.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred, particularly from top-tier institutions such as IIT, IIM, ISB, or equivalent prestigious programs.
